Shweta Shukla, founder of The Culturegram and former HR leader at Facebook and Netflix, will share how leading organizations move beyond “buzzwords” to define culture through the reality of how work gets done every day. Drawing on her experience at some of the world’s most iconic tech brands, Shweta will present a systems view of culture, illustrating how owning your culture and maintaining consistency drives superior long-term business results. She will illustrate how to integrate culture into the broader organizational operating model, specifically examining the intersecting roles of the Founder/CEO, leadership teams, and HR. We will explore a framework for navigating culture in the context of rapid growth and competing priorities, providing you with the tools to make culture both real and tangible. Finally, Shweta will share practical examples of how these principles are applied to ensure that culture remains a measurable driver of organizational effectiveness.

About the Speaker:  

Shweta Shukla is the founder of The Culturegram and a seasoned human resources executive with over twenty years of experience leading talent strategy in high-tech, hyper-scale environments. Most recently, she served as the Chief People Officer at Lenskart, where she designed the operating model for a 200-person HR team and drove people strategy across a diverse global workforce. Her career has been defined by the high growth era of Silicon Valley in Asia. At Netflix, she was an early regional hire who laid the foundation for the APAC organization, managing a 50-member talent team. At Facebook, she led HR across several critical APAC markets during the company’s rapid expansion. Shweta began her career with a decade of rigorous grounding in management and consulting at GE, HSBC, and Hewitt Associates, where she sharpened her skills in solving complex organizational problems at scale. Born in Bhopal, India, and currently based in Singapore, Shweta is a deeply curious advocate for inclusive leadership. She continues to use her platform at The Culturegram to advise clients on building resilient organizational cultures. Her professional philosophy remains inspired by her father’s legacy of work ethic, fairness, and community impact.
