What are your aspirations for the Community?I have been a member of the board of ODC from the foundation of ODC – first as a regular member and now as an ex officio member in my capacity as CEO of ODC-C Aps. As a member of the board, I will have a focus on creating "organizational design" as a profession by advancing the theory and practice of organizational design. Bridging organizational design theory with practice is required to establish a high-quality profession. The design of an organization has a significant effect on the performance of the organization as well as on the individuals working in and with the organization. Additionally, sustainability can only be advanced if organizing principles are taken into account. I aspire to further develop the Certified Organizational Design Professional (CODP) program and make the program the preferred certification for individuals working with designing organizations. |  BiographyBørge Obel, recently Professor Emeritus, is a founding board member of Organizational Design Community.
